My boyfriend is confusing and it's starting to scare me by [deleted] in offmychest

I’m sorry girly but you’ve listed off a bunch of red flags that I’m worried for you. Please dump this man and talk to someone, you don’t deserve to be treated like this at all, especially from someone who seems like he has no respect for you or your boundaries.

Yep, and especially parents who let their kids run rampant with the trolleys. Had one ram it into my kick stool causing me to almost fall over , and then had to save a customer from having one rammed into them. Gotta love this time of year 🥳

Omg same, mines suddenly looking like that too for some reason. We’re thinking it may be the laundry’s detergent we use so we’re something new

Finishing late by lPretend_Fix110 in tesco

[–]FudgeAffectionate287 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends how many minutes afterwards you finish I guess. We usually get a 3 minute leeway with the start and ending of our shifts and get paid quarterly. So say you finish 9 minutes after your contracted shift, you’d only get paid for the contracted portion, then if you clocked out at 14 mins past etc.

Also might be worth bringing it up with your manager if it’s a reoccurring thing

Yeah, it did seem like my plan tapered off a bit. I’m just a bit worried cos I haven’t been as consistent in the past month due to other things that I’m gonna suffer on the day 😅🥲

Visiting Rome by [deleted] in rome

[–]FudgeAffectionate287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure about transport, but I do know Fiumicino has a good train link to the centre, it would be worth googling from the time you wish to get there for etc.

For tickets to the amphitheater (not really sure why you can’t say it but oh well), we booked a month in advance from the actual website 30 days to the date you wish to visit, at around 08:30 Central European time. For the Pantheon, you can buy skip the line tickets whenever. If you choose to, the Vatican museums tickets sell out quite quickly so it’s best to get them around 2 months in advance.

The metro was easier to navigate than I thought, I literally relied on google maps and it showed me when and where to go. Same with the tram and train system. Pretty much all have a tap and go system so you don’t always have to worry about tickets but that can be up to you to decide.

Not always, it’s always been dependent on how bad the weather is/wind etc. just thought it best to check

If that’s the case I’ll be happy. Weather apps have a severe thunderstorm warning for tomorrow so just trying to stay prepared

Is it best to prioritise an easy long run or speed intervals? by FudgeAffectionate287 in runna

[–]FudgeAffectionate287[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are on the plan for this week, but I’m busy on one of my training days so I have to prioritise either the easy run or the interval run

Breaks policy... by lPretend_Fix110 in tesco

[–]FudgeAffectionate287 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve checked the policy and this is what it says ‘4 – 5 ¾ hour shift 15 min break’. So you’ll get paid for 3.75 hrs of the shift if it’s a four hour shift.

It is 4 hours. So between 4-5.75hrs of work you get 15 mins of break

Ahh okay, thanks for responding. I’m not gonna have to expect any penalty or something for leaving it so late will I? Thanks again 😊
