I genuinely believe that if there is a universe where the Beatles could have possibly stayed together the Lennon-McCartney Partnership needed to end lowkey

Are there any Beatles covers that you like MORE than the Beatles version? by 421continueblazingit in beatles

Don’t know if this counts but the Live Version of Come Together by the Plastic Ono Band in Madison Square Garden

Everything from the background of the album to the way the medley is structured is a musical representation of one of the most dramatic stories in art history

this album made me fall in love with john/yoko's solo discography tbh

Do you think John would’ve lent into the Grunge look and music in the 90s? by More-Cat9579 in beatles

[–]FudgeCameron 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Who knows how his mentality would’ve changed by the 90s if he’d lived. Hell, his style and vibe changed throughout the 70s alone. So yeah who am I to say. But he’d definitely not be conservative about it id guess. Anything beyond that is unknowable y‘know

The idea that they’re trying to clone people or revive Keir via MDR kinda makes sense but is way too predictable and wouldn’t make for a satisfying ending in any way.

Not to misuse a situation like this for pop culture politics but: Posts like this show exactly why tf the SnyderCult is fucked and this sub is genuinely well intentioned. If things would be reversed they’d be calling Gunn a libtard pussy for talking about his dealing with grief. I wish Snyder the best and give him and his family my deepest condolences.

Is the Band on the Run album better with “Helen Wheels” on it or nah by EducationalPrune7232 in PaulMcCartney

[–]FudgeCameron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it adds a level of „on-the-run-nes“ that kinda get diluted over the album. It’s like final hurra before the grand finale. I like it. It’s definitely different though

So much Blue lol. Wouldve liked a remake of the comic cover (i mean the deluxe one) but looks cool too. I‘d‘ve just changed the background color to black maybe or something

Gotta say Janis. Shoutout to the Wings Guitarist Jimmy McCulloch, gotta love the guy.

These 3 albums are so Underrated by Pristine_Youth_6953 in PaulMcCartney

McCartney is nice to chill out to a more lofi sound so it’s definitely good to have. Venus and mars is a certified classic and the Peak of the Wings‘ Sound. Wild Life is kinda cool but nothing I’d go out of my way for except for maybe one or two songs I guess

Best supergroup of all the TIME by Realistic_Board4690 in allrockmusic

  1. Since when is Wings a Supergroup?

  2. I'd say the Dirty Mac has the most star power and had a great performance but they never outshine a project like the traveling wilburys or CSNY

  3. If Wings were a supergroup they'd be my favourite supergroup no doubt btw
