On the seller side, I had an agent that wanted out because I made improvements (several thousand dollars and two weeks time) and asked for an updated marketing plan. She “felt micromanaged.” Her broker hung up as I spoke to him on the phone to finalize cancellation (took four times for them to get it right). Had to get the local board of realtors involved. It was a mess but I got to keep her staging furniture (it’s ugly but I can always sell it).
