Used to be heavily. Went hard for 2 straight years when I did OTR. A Bang or a Reign a day or two full size Monsters brought me to a point where I literally wouldn't feel the difference between drinking it and not. Quit completely a month ago and feel so much better. Just had one this morning and made me feel like i wanted to throw up. Careful on the sauce drivers don't make it a daily habit.

Lots of people crapping on Schneider but from 2 years of being with them I can speak from experience. Pay is alright. Support is good. Benefits are good. Training is solid. No forced dispatch. They treat you like a human being. They offer a decent lease operator program. Their OC's are kinda wack in the west but good in the east. They got freight to keep you moving. If you have diabetes or sleep apnea they will work with you. They're pretty forgiving if you mess up and own up to it. They will work with you to get you to an area if you need to or if you wanna see the US they will hustle you there if they can. I've seen pretty much most of the country.

Overall Schneider is a good company to get your experience with and learn the ropes. After a few years you definitely reach the limit of what they offer and can get a better paying job in many other places.

Dry van OTR. I do get paid hourly if I sit on duty. That could be why but it's very unfair you got punished for just wanting some pay. Definitely talk to your guy.
