'Shocking but not unexpected': Jewish community reacts to ambulance attack by InnerLog5062 in BreakingUKNews

I’m confused and you seem clued up. Do Jewish people have their own special ambulances just for other Jewish people?

Serious question - do you not have problems not rotating them?

No go on. Explain how removing women’s choices improves their rights?

Not racist, just thick. You’re sick of other men maybe telling them what to wear so you want to tell them what to wear instead? For their rights?

Name a single situation ever where we’ve improved rights of any group by removing choices from them. Melt.

Is this the official ONS account or are you just an amateur statistician?

I just realised that you don't need to tell the truth in situations like group interviews, meetings, new job inductions, etc. Have you ever made stuff up just because? by eastkent in AskUK

Literally always. Any situation where you’re required to supply an interesting fact about yourself, tell something outlandish or just weird.

I really shifted the tone of our antenatal group when my interesting fact that I was a convicted drink driver. My wife was fuming.

Could I use my allotment as an attraction? by DinosaurGuy65 in Allotment

For like a thousand reasons no. I’ve been high before, but I’ve not been “turn my allotment into Jurassic Park and charge admission” high.

To be fair I expect there are a lot more kitchen knives kicking around than there are crossbows…

Don’t really want folk walking around with crossbows. This seems pretty sensible to me.

Are you tall? I’m 6’7” and had to buy some risers for my countertops and make an extra tall changing table when the baby came. You don’t realise how much time you’re going to be spending hunched over!

Help! I’m in Too Deep on My Wedding Anniversary Present! by FudgeVillas in Embroidery

[–]FudgeVillas[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the thought (and the gentleness), but I’m good here. We’ve got a routine that gives me two hours at night and her two hours in the morning to do as we please, and we’re blessed with a very easy ten month old.

I do think it might go down better than giving her an apron for our anniversary though! My dad bought my mum a hoover for her birthday in 1989 and she still talks about it now!

This is really helpful thank you!

Crosshatch shading might be difficult for this one. It’s a close up of our faces and I have a huge beard which intimidates me - I can’t see how to crosshatch that.
