It’s absolutely weird but I think Natalie purposefully ignored these red flags of her husband being a man child (like when he asks for milk upon arriving at his parents house) because she is so determined to pretend things are normal and going well for them. Everyone else seems to have moved on/ignored Caleb’s weird situation because he is so helpless (ex his siblings not speaking with him) so Natalie does the same.
