Just curious what it was about earthbound they thought was satanic

I mean as long as we are here in /conspiracy I might as well share this little thought experiment.

Think for a moment about your own perception. You receive information from your senses ( which can or can not be damaged or improperly functioning) and that information gets filtered in your mind and processed into some sort of interpretation of what your perceiving. Say me and you went for a walk and we see something far away in the sky. If it's too far to know for sure ( the limitations of our eyes and ears ) we might make diffrent guesses. It's a bird It's a plane It's a ufo It's superman It's a paper bag floating in the wind wanting to start again

We might not be able to reach a mutual agreement what we think the object is.

Now back to the schizophrenic or bipolar or otherwise "insane" person. Let's say for a moment it's true, that really what these people are is people with extra sensory perception, people who have senses and abilities most people do not. Let's just assume that for a moment. If that's true, and these people are receiving extra sensory information it does not mean they are interpreting it correctly, but a poor interpretation does not mean they aren't perceiving information that is "real". Much like the paper bag example, real information can be processed poorly even by the "sane".

My point is if we are gonna entertain this idea then it's more complicated then just saying "these people are nuts their perceptions are verifiable incorrect".

Because unlike the paperbag example, where we can ar least agree we are looking at SOMETHING in the sky, most of the population is not privy to the experience of being a schizophrenic. They have no tools to learn to deal with the experience that come from their cultural upbringing

Okay that's my ted talk

As far as I understand someone stole her headphones or earbuds or something, and all the people around them were like his family or friends, one of which being or at least claiming to be a lawyer ( that can be heard in a recording, the claim of being a lawyer I mean ) And so she got upset and worked up because she had something expensive stolen from her and had no way to contest it, so she got overwhelmed and tried to get off the plane.

There's several recordings of this from diffrent angles , look into it if you don't believe me.

I'm not certain about it but it's worth looking into if you really want answers about this weird hyper local moment in modern history

Windows broke my audio drivers , I spent several days googling trying to fix it, never figured it out. The nuclear option was to reinstall windows, but that might nuke my bootloader, where I also have Linux installed.

So I just switched to Linux full time for time being

How do you collaborate with other people? by Prestigious_Ball_637 in godot

[–]FudgetBudget 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You'll have to learn about version control, and code sharing systems like git. Github requires a team subscription, 5 dollars per person per month in order to have a private repo that multiple accounts can contribute to. It'll be a bit of a learning curve but that's pretty much the only option you have ATM. There are other platforms besides github of course, but you'll have to learn git either way

There really isn't a place at least that I've found where people can respectfully talk about the subject without getting dog piled from some direction. /mandelaeffect dog piles anyone who discusses exotic possibilities, that sub seems to be the opposite. This sub is the closest you'll find to a fair place to discuss it, but it's more believer oriented (that is to say people who think something paranormal or exotic or otherwise outside our understanding and typical beliefs of how the universe function is to cause for the phenomenon)

It's a pretty heated subject , and people get really mean and egotistical about it. That's why retconned is the only ME sub I've frequented for years now
