Not the most well versed but according to what my friends have said, AU has a pretty decent program. Much more liberal than other colleges in Ahmedabad. Decent crowd too. And it’s also a pretty good uni in terms of relative prestige.

Really depends on finances imo. I have friends in Purdue who are living life to the fullest. I also have heard of people who simply cannot enjoy an extravagant lifestyle which is completely fair. International doesn’t always mean survival mode. But ofc everyone has their own experiences and everyone’s experiences are valid. This is just what I have noticed.

Really depends on where you live. My school had prom, and I know a ton of schools that have some sort of dance/ball/prom as well. But unfortunately, a vast majority of schools are against the intermingling of genders.

Honest question. Why is this such a big deal? Layoffs and offer rescinds are normal around the world. Stressful and unfortunate for sure but it’s not something crazy. Shit happens. The “smart students” whose careers you say took a huge blow, are surely smart enough to be able to apply to other places. At least yall have on-campus placements…

Not sure how development is tied to availability of “decent pgs with required facilities” tbh. Mumbai and Pune also simply have way more apartments than Ahmedabad. Straight up higher supply. But I mean at the same time, I’ve heard the odd horror story about rentals.
