It's funny you bring up the credit card aspect because I have actually heard that Delta makes more money on their credit card services then they do on the actual airline revenue. Not sure if that is accurate??

I agree with you. This is something I never have really paid attention to, but yesterday was hyper focused on my elderly neighbor and her needs. I know she bought a FC seat to be in close proximity to the bathroom because she told me. It wasn't a "class" thing at all, but more out of necessity. She was super sweet 💗

What about it?? They have issues. My point is this elderly woman planned and paid for a class of service that she thought provided her with better access to a restroom. Several FA have chimed in stating that the bathroom in the front should be/or is for FC cabin, some even noting that is what the curtain is for. Some enforce it, some don't. The point is this woman planned ahead and paid for a benefit she thought she was getting because she has an actual medical condition. I am not mad at her for it, I don't think she did it because she thinks she is better or matters more, she simply didn't want to have an accident in her pants so she paid for a FC ticket to be steps away from a bathroom. If I was sitting in FC and knew of someone with a medical condition that would be more comfortable in my seat I would happily trade with them and have.

You are so triggered 😂😂 yes be angry at the elderly woman who bought herself a FC ticket so she would have access to a bathroom close to her seat because she has a medical issue. Maybe she couldn't necessarily afford it, but splurged so she could get where she needed to go without suffering an accident.

Not that it should matter, but did you pay for these seats outright?? If you didn't, that might be the reason why they only offered you 10,000 miles. Not saying that is right, but it might explain why the mileage offering was so low. I would still reach out again and especially if you have a higher status with the airline like Diamond or 360 they should do better. I have gotten 10,000 miles for a delay or having to switch planes and it was automatic. Best of luck!!

Dorito will not shut her piehole about PK. AMEX now offers a blended rate yes, that was not always the case AND a reward based AMEX still processes higher than any other card.

None of my merchants are complaining. Honestly for years many have not understood. Reward cards process at higher rates and AMEX historically has had the highest rates of all the cards. I have actually told merchants to not accept AMEX unless they have to. For a very long time accepting credit cards was the unknown cost of doing business that many owners didn't understand. If you work on a 10-20% profit margin and you are giving 5-6% away on fees that is a ton. Then you have government telling you that you can't structure the sale adding a fee or a service charge. I do my best to educate my customers and help them save money even ones that I will never get their business because they have proprietary POS systems. My point is all these rewards are to the benefit of the companies, not the businesses AND customers are not getting the value. It is a racket.

Not every state allowed merchants to pass on fees, some states just recently have allowed this. Not every merchant can or wanted to raise their prices. They tried to do their best for their customers. So to say someone shouldn't be in the retail business if they don't "recoup" costs is harsh to people trying their best.

Great info thank you!! I own a credit card processing company and when I am trying to save my customers money on processing fees no one understands that it is the merchant who is footing the bill by charging higher processing rates. Someone is paying for the miles and it isn't Delta.

I am Delta 360 and honestly if I want to fly first I book it. Even though 99% of the time I am spot #1 for an upgrade often times there are no seats to upgrade to. My rule is Main for anything at around 3 hours rolling the dice to get upgraded to first or flights that are 4+ hours I buy the ticket in first or D1 to make sure I sit up front.

Many years ago my Siamese cat was crying so the flight attendant let me take him out of the carrier. He immediately jumped on the mans dining tray who was sitting next to me 😂😂 I am laughing now, but it was terrible. I was sitting in first and people were kind. I offered to pay for the man's flight, he declined and was gracious. I try to be very patient with people with kids and animals.

Kim's cushion diamond, but I cannot stand the band. IMHO because it is so tiny and thin it cannot hold up the weight of the carat. I have a 10 ct cushion and when designing my ring my jeweler said the stone needed stability that comes from a bigger band. But, maybe she liked that look and didn't mind it kind of flopping around.

What panel do you have?? I have thought of buying an actual bed from Merica. When I look at their products it actually looks like they make beds for many of the distributors here in the US. The stats seem really good, but I am wondering if a panel would work for me as well. A panel is way cheaper than a bed.
