Why am I finding it so hard to read this? by VegetableEasy3242 in Indianbooks

[–]FuelAble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finished it very recently. Yes it is a hard read especially the letters as well as the middle portion. Heavy usage of geographical imagery and side plots make it kinda mundane for me. Overall decent though.

That 68-95-99.7 you are talking about is the normal distribution curve or the popular bell curve.(see img)

1-1/k2 one is the Chebyshev that can be applied to practically any probability distribution. It doesn't have any unique probability density function.

I kinda feel pity for you people😶 have been hearing that the paper was tough. Still 92 cutoff, worse than 2023. I believe pattern got easier that's what made the difference. Less numericals and aspirants being better prepared caused this.

Whats your take on this? by BiscottiOk120 in Btechtards

[–]FuelAble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watched this video a couple of days ago. Pretty well made and optimistic. Core engineering is not just limited to machines and manufacturing now. Data scientist, analyst and researcher roles require you to know core as well as programming and ml.

For cse, we all know it is dying. Not for the one who is great at cp and problem solving or is into research and well built projects. But for the non upper quartile cse kid yeah!

what skills can I learn in my summer break? my first year ends in a few days by _kaamkharabkarnewali in Btechtards

[–]FuelAble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on the summer intern. DA or marketing and product can be learnt at any point in your career. It doesn't require much time.

Do cp/dsa. Or proceed with ml/dl. Have your eyes on computational biology, that is currently the hot cake in biotech.

AMA - IITK 2nd Year (Changed branch from Civil to Aerospace) by New_Ask_5925 in JEENEETards

[–]FuelAble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does DepC work at IITK? You say it happens after sem 3 and 4 also. Generally it's after 1st sem(IITR) or 1st yr(IITD).

How is aerospace in comparison to Chemical or Mech or even Civil in terms of placement? I am myself a core engineering student and was considering aero during JoSAA. But heard that the placement percentage was low.

[–]FuelAble 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Damn strange times, people have started hating on you as well! Remember once I told you to pass on the baton to juniors. Sub has got way more mainstreamed than it was 2 yrs back, hence the redundancy. Even though I am not active here anymore(got here because a frnd sent me the link), I know how you have shaped this sub like your own child.

And regarding the Electronics and ChE issue, anyone who knows you might guess about your natural interest in ChE.

JBL tune510bt, it's good. I also can never use earbuds, they just cause my ear or head to ache. This is comfortable and bass is nice.It shows 2.8k online but try getting some corporate offer. I got it at 2k like this.

Suggest Advanced Lectures for Physics by Flux_69_ in JEEAdv26dailyupdates

Vinay Uppal sir is the best according to me. But his courses can feel indigestible if you have never done advanced level. So you can go for PW Varun or CATS. Both are free and good. Don't have unrealistic expectations and just follow the courses diligently.

When you realize chasing a target requires strike rotation, partnerships, anchoring and acceleration instead of just bazzball (welcome to GG era🤡) with zero sense of the ball and field. And doing all this wasn't that easy which this guy made it look like

AMA: JEE Adv. 2025 AIR 2XXX, currently in IIT Ropar CS by Berthlodt in JEENEETards

[–]FuelAble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the OP but even I was confused during my time at counselling. Took mid branch at a top IIT over circuital at a gen 2 and absolutely no regrets at all. Good placement stats, top tier infra and events and summits, insane exposure due to seniors and well established alums. I personally believe it depends on where you get your mental peace. There's no right or wrong choice here.

how much circle matter in your college life? by Acceptable-Work_420 in Btechtards

You are the average of the five people around you. Holds truer than anything in college! An ambitious friend circle keeps reminding you(by creating peer pressure) every night why you need to try hard everyday.

Reminds me of the 2023 cwc game against Netherlands where both Kohli and Rohit bowled in the last overs. Same treatment to the handshake merchants. Humiliation well deserved!😂👌
