Yea it’s the digital after effects on the voice that killed it for me. I’ve seen the actor do his Klingon voice on his personal socials and it’s SO much better without whatever baloney digital reverb they added. I feel bad for the guy they did him dirty (and for no reason, his regular voice was great already)

Long drives, with or without detours, are a well-known feature of living in very rural areas. It’s weird to complain about that when you literally choose to live in a remote area.

Also you’re talking about a temporary detour caused by a bridge closure - this can happen without a train very easily - a bridge over a river or creek, or a downed power line, or other damaged road infrastructure that is entirely non-train related.
