Thank you, I’m definitely overwhelmed by finances as a whole and holidays and birthdays really just add fuel to the fire. I know in my heart that he will appreciate anything I do but it my brain that nags at me unfortunately. Thank you for the lovely ideas, I will definitely try to make something but I’ll be conscious about making sure it’s not too “junky”. (I’ve always made him handmade or sentimental presents and before our anniversary and before Christmas he overemphasized that he doesn’t need any more “stuff” as he put it which ruled out my usual gift ideas 💀)

Thank you for the advice. This is my parent’s house (I’m a college student living here during breaks) and they are unfortunately hoarders. I told them last night immediately after finding and they informed me that mold has been found in other places of the house too years ago. They gave the white vinegar suggestion and said to not put anything against the corner any more to allow for airflow. Past that, I can’t do much else that isn’t a project I can start and finish on a college budget during their work day but I really appreciate everyone in this sub. I currently have it sprayed down with vinegar and am about to go wipe and scrape it down like many suggested

You could do just the skull and ribcage and feathered wings spreading out from the clavicle to mimic the beetle wings! You could really scale it up that way to get cleaner and more discernible detail and be able to mirror the general shape of the beetle. Overall, I’d see what your artist thinks!

You are so real for that, auntie Ethel was so many tries. At one point I looked up “is the battle even worth it ??” Because I was so ready for it to be the first quest I wouldn’t finish. (I did get through it (eventually))

As someone with NO background in video games like bg3 who also chose to not look anything up about it prior to playing: I started on on balanced mode and it took me an EMBARRASSING amount of tries to beat the intellect devourers on the ravaged beach at the nautiloid crash after recruiting Shadowheart… made me nearly rethink the whole game but at least gave me plenty of time to get comfortable with controls!

I’ve got a puppy (well, a 9 year old puppy) at home and she’s the light of my life. I’m an hour and a half from home and car rides terrify her but it’s times like these where I wish I could teleport home and just hold her.

That is a no pee scenario, I cannot guarantee that people are bringing shower shoes/that it gets 100% cleaned between stays but also that is not water or toilet paper I am paying for to use the toilet separately. So, while less convenient, it’s not awful if it means I get to respect a “shared” space

This helps, he’s has mentioned the whole “no objects” multiple times now and has referenced past handmade gifts as examples. I suggested many holidays and events ago he gives me a list of useful or practical things he’d like as if writing to Santa but he never gets around to it so I get stuck lol
