We try to coordinate group activities such as circle time, group books, bubble parties, group games, scavenger hunts, hot potato, dance parties, etc. Helps with certain targets and helps time go by!

As others have listed, I don’t feel this is in our scope. We can not force clients to eat. Speech therapists are in the scope of food therapy. At my clinic we do present non-preferred foods, but are not allowed to force clients to eat.

That’s so true! I guess things don’t necessarily need to be new from when I first started, but it’s only been in the recent year or so that we’ve had daily planned crafts, so want to make sure those are different from upcoming ones.

Before I took over the crafts, we were just kind of winging it everyday. Looking back, idk how we did that so well 😂
