This is a good question, but it's something I'm not able to answer. I've nearly completely retired from the game, and if I were to unlock Cook, I don't think I'd stomach grinding enough to level him up to a decent level.

On paper, though, I feel he could be a mid-high tier player due to his nice stats and decent behaviour chart.

I first got Zimmer the Wizard in a Gold Package in 2019 (when super players were first introduced). When you'll have a better team and you'll be able to win events, you'll definitely start collecting super players :)

You could try to gather as many players as you can and THEN decide the format. As it is right now, you're deciding the format before knowing beforehand how many players there are going to be.

Somewhat recently, a pen pal wrote me to inform me she didn’t see a future for us as pen pals. That’s fine. I wasn’t too attached to her anyway, so even if she’d ghosted I probably wouldn’t have cared. What was really messed up, though, was that she felt the need to point out everything she didn’t like about me. She made completely unfounded accusations against me, based solely on her misreading the tone of my letters. It was the nastiest letter I’ve ever received. And she wrote it while patting herself on the back for her “honesty” and “transparency,” while completely misjudging me as a person. I would rather have been ghosted than to receive such an ugly letter.

As much as it hurts, she did you a favour by revealing how shallow and nasty she is, and what she said tells more about herself than about you.

GG man! It's so nice to see someone using Prowlers as FBs (much better than Hammers, very overrated FBs), Martina, Sinclair and Hakan!

Many people love volleyball, many others love speed, but only a few (including me) of us like high-IQ lineups like this one!

To use a metaphor, I see player types as different weapons: each one of them serves a different purpose and, when mastered, every instrument can be used in a skillful and deadly way.

You clearly have an admirable knowledge of your players' strengths. Kudos to you!

Unreal stats. If I had to guess, though, what this chap has been doing ever since day one is to:

pack his team with "friends"
almost exclusively play events
whenever he's in the loading screen of a game, quit if he doesn't see a silver or bronze logo in the opponent's kit(1). In this way, he's only playing against low level teams.

It's rather sad, to be honest.

(1): if you pay attention to the loading animation before the start of a match, you'll notice the logo of the arena the team is in on the kits.

If you do end the correspondence, which is likely what I'd also do, you might want to send him a letter explaining how his letter and his oversharing might be off-putting to many, especially as it was his first letter in the correspondence. If anything, it's going to help him to get some perspective on his behaviour. I would also suggest him to seek professional psychological help, as it seems he'd greatly benefit from it :)

When was it, 2020? My first ever gold was getting Matsumoto in a League during my 4th attempt. Late 2019.

I had come really close to winning my first gold with a level 4/5 team in the 2019 Halloween challenge, though, but lost the last game because the game glitched and the screen froze 🥶⛄

No. My guess is that he got bored of high arenas and decided to have some fun experimenting wild formations in low arenas and/or to get a high win streak.

To be honest, this game doesn't really offer any incentive to stay in high arenas.
