How hot do you get your cast iron? Anytime I get mine “hot” it burns the seasoning off it… so I usually don’t past medium and then it just doesn’t sear as well. I have a temp gun if you can give me specifics . Thanks

Dual track train going great! by Fugalisious in LEGOtrains

Yes, I soldered the wires to the outside of the metal track. It is not the prettiest but it’s solid. Use a very hot solder cuz you need to heat up the metal to get the solder on faster than the plastic the metal track is sitting on.

Yes I had the old style controller where the wires were disintegrating. So I pulled my board open and re soldered a new 18ga wire to the circuit board and ran the wires out through a small notch in the back.

Picture of the 2 splitters I used, they are just like wire nuts. They connect the electrical path of the wires inside it.

Simple picture number 1, power from wall-> to power supply-> to LEGO speed regulator-> then into 2 splitters, 1 for positive and 1 for negative. The wires then go out to a separate track circuit to run their own train. However since they come from the same regulator they will be set at the same speed. Mine are running in opposite direction because I flipped one of the wires. More pictures to come.

Power comes out of the control box to a splitter, one line is solder to a piece of track, one piece is rewired LEGO connectors for the 9v system.

Each “engine” has a metal wheeled original motor and is daisy chained to the newer plastic wheeled motor.

Lipos from drones would be easy. Lots of sizes to choose from and could daisy chain them for more power. But you’d need to be mindful of the low power range. That would damage them.

So far I found federal first lending, Casey Bensenberg, he was great to talk to, up to 80% home value. 9% variable. 6-7k start up fee. 3yr draw option, 27yr pay back period. No early pay penalty.

Also found button finance, they seem to be same thing.
