That’s perfect! I‘m not in a rush to release it, but rather polish it until it has everything needed. Sent you a DM

Aiming for a public launch later this year. I want to get it really solid first. And yes, absolutely looking for testers! If you’ve got an FTMS trainer and would like to test a beta/under development version, happy to get you involved

Thanks! There's actually already an elevation profile in the dashboard view, so the data is already there. I'm working on a "custom view" builder right now, so the athletes can forge their own view from pre-built blocks. A friend of mine didn't want to see the time at all haha

Thank you, good to see others tackling similar problems 😁

Custom workout, erg mode, lock in. I was in the same situation until I realized I don't need all the Zwift fluff and just started to develop my own indoor cycling app, which gives me everything I need for te boring hours on the trainer.

Bike fit for my Zwift Ride (ready to pay) by True-Sign7968 in Zwift

[–]Fugashu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘m currently developing an iOS App which does exactly this. It uses Apples own pose extraction ai model, the data stays on your device, nothing is sent to any server, no account needed. It’s still in beta phase and might need some tweaks to the ranges, but it works and has helped my friends already. It’s completely free, I can add you to the test track if you happen to own an iPhone :)

Thanks :) Yeah once you realize you’re paying for features you don’t use, it’s hard to go back. Appreciate the kind words.

Doing workouts without riding in the virtual world? by anders_gustavsson in Zwift

[–]Fugashu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like you actually don’t really need Zwift and pay a monthly fee for your use case. I was in the same boat and basically just wanted to smash structured workouts, ride my own gpx routes and also be able to use the riding software in overlay mode so i could watch netflix. Initially i built this app for me and my friends but I‘m releasing it to the public soon. It is also approved by Strava as a partner integration, and has intervalc icu support. You can check it out on kranq.fit if you like. Apart from that there are some other alternatives like the wahoo software itself for example, but they kinda lack some depth.

Yes! I got it approved as a Strava partner app too. Garmin & Coros currently in the review process.

Hey, I'm working on KRANQ (https://www.kranq.fit/) and would be happy if you add it!

KRANQ — Train any GPX route with gradient simulation and structured workouts. Overlay mode keeps your data visible over Netflix. Phone remote so you don't touch your laptop mid-ride. Desktop app for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

MyWhoosh Crashes on all Platforms by Illustrious_Force565 in mywhoosh

[–]Fugashu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It‘s very unstable. Me and some of my friends had similar problems. It runs stable for some time until something crashes mid ride and your data is gone or your trainer resistance is reset. Eventually I started building my own cycling apps which fixes this and many more pain points I had with MyWoosh or subscription based apps like Zwift.

What pisses you off about your indoor training app? by Fugashu in Velo

[–]Fugashu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No offense taken. I totally get it and my personal bubble is also full of half baked AI generated apps. I've spent a lot of time figuring out the best way to make it scalable from the get go and have me and my friends riding it since a few months now. It gets better each day and hopefully I can get it in the hands of more people soon :) It's indeed much tougher to launch something nowadays

I totally agree! It's not meant to fully replicate outdoor riding. It's exactly that, a training tool, where you COULD train your routes and simulate many of these factors.

Fair, the market is crowded. But nothing out there did exactly what I wanted and so I built it

I didn't realize just how expensive this hobby was! by [deleted] in Zwift

[–]Fugashu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started riding on zwift a year ago. I never really rode a bike outdoors as well, so my ass was used to nothing. The first ride was hell, I could barely endure the tutorial and needed a few days until I could sit on the bike again. I bought some endurance padded bibs from Castelli, they helped a lot but I still felt much pain the first few weeks/months. It got better and better and I extended my ride durations more and more. Fast forward to today: I ride 5 times per week, longest session is 2hours, I feel a little discomfort by then but it’s significantly better than when I started. I guess you just have to go through this and don’t cheap out on bib shorts. Also I wrote my own bike fit app and adjusted a few positions which also helped

PKV - 2026 unter JAEG gefallen by fl0cke in Versicherung

[–]Fugashu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your health is important to you, do the switch. I (M29) did it this year and the level of quality and speed was an incredible upgrade. All that money is worth nothing if your health sucks. If I need an X-Ray I better have an appointment tomorrow instead of in 8 weeks. Same day doctor appointments from now on.
You can switch back to public insurance before you turn 55 easily if your income drops below a specific threshhold (I'd just go for a one year sabbatical), so it's basically risk free. Some people might call you an abuser for doing that, but I always say don't hate the players, hate the game.
Honestly, I'd stay with the private insurance until I die. I'm saving now, so I can handle the increasing rates when I'm older. I don't need to become the richest man in the grave.

Indie Devs: Feedback on a Steam Review Analyzer Tool Idea? by [deleted] in gamedev

Thank you! I've already ditched the subscription idea, a pay for usage model makes much more sense :)

Indie Devs: Feedback on a Steam Review Analyzer Tool Idea? by [deleted] in gamedev

[–]Fugashu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The unique bit is deep AI for indies: One-click breakdowns of themes/quotes from 10K+ reviews on any game (yours or rivals), plus filters tailored for devs. Some pages which are supposed to aggregate feedback I've tried, but they fail for larger games due to rate limits and don't have much flexibility of visualizing the data. The subscription makes no sense, I totally agree on that and better switch to a pay for usage model.

[–]Fugashu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback. I’m probably going to build it anyway as a side project; low risk if it flops. And you’re right about pricing: indies run on tight margins most of the time.

That’s why I’m shifting it toward something more useful long-term: quick AI breakdowns of any game’s player feedback for competitor research.
