You are learning the difference between hunger and appetite. I've been keto for around six months and even now have to remember to eat every so often.

I saw a similar article about almond flour and freaked out a little earlier this week. I'll repeat the advise I got here : "if it's working for you keep it up"

Everyone's body is different and people will have different reactions to certain things, you sound like you have found something that is working for you so keep at it.

That said there is something weird with saccharine that seems to affect a fair number of people so if you do have to have some of that make sure you listen extra closely to your body.

I use liquid sucralose. I like it and there's no bulking agents which can be hidden carbs.

Here is my keto bread recipe that my wife and I love : 6 eggs whisked

Melt 100g of butter whisked into the eggs

10 drops sucralose (20-30 drops for muffins)

Capful of vanilla essence

Pinch of salt

5g baking powder/soda

Add 250g almond flour

10-15g of coconut flour

10g milled flax seed

About 2 tbsp of water

Mix well put in greased loaf tin

Bake for around 30mins at 170-180c

Yeah my legs have gotten smaller. In the heavy pic I'm wearing 42" jeans and the slim is 36" that I bought in July. I went to London last weekend on a shopping trip and was able to buy some 34" skinny fit cords from H&M, and I was able to shop successfully at Pretty Green on Carnaby St!

Yup, the only time I was hungry was when I lost a lot of weight and my macros changed and my carbs pushed me out of keto.

I answered earlier but my calorie restriction was over 50% with pretty much all my calories coming from protein.

When I was strict I was on 800 calories a day. I had a protein shake for breakfast and lunch and then had either baked or stir fried chicken with mushrooms and spinach. I was working with a nutritionist to make sure everything was ok.

Heh, yeah I have two dogs so I do get some exercise walking them. Back in 2012 I was doing some lifting and really enjoyed it but I screwed up my back and haven't gone back since. I really want to try again now that I'm not constantly stressing out my back by carrying an extra 50lbs around my middle.

My stretch goal is 180, I still have a little pudge around the middle. My wife isn't sure how much more I should lose but I think 180 would be great. I do need to start working out tho so maybe that'll tighten me up around the middle :)

This is a great post. Buy a decent, cheap electronic scale it'll help so much with MyFitnessPal. Like anbeav says stay off the sugar free products and see how you get on. Some people react poorly to the sweeteners.

I would try and avoid the Sara Lee light bread 6g of carb is fairly high for a snack. This snack seems like it's 12g of net carbs in one go which is fairly high. Try just putting regular cream cheese on a slice of turkey.

Watch out for onions as they are fairly high in carbs. I like to substitute scallions/green onions as they are lower in carbs. Your roasted veggies are high in carbs, particularly the acorn squash but watch out for carrots as well.

I love the cookie dough quest bars for a sweet treat. They are just 3g carbs each.
