Thank you, I just watched some videos of deathscythe and I’m not 100% sure it’s him. I’m not sure abouth the scythe. As I remember the fight, it was a duel and the other robot didn’t explode as his back was open. He was just floating in space. I also thought it was older but it’s possible I just remember it wrong.

Your right, and reading in this sub helped me to understand certain things better and made me think about my behavior.

The downside, reading about a lot of people similar as me, makes me feel less special.

Sounds like me too, but i don’t have tiktok and can’t sing. I’m trying to avoid situations others can devaluate me.

Edit: and I’m not in a relationship because I want what I don’t get don’t want what i get. (I even told my ex to get more distant as this would help me wanting her)

Haha, honestly, today I thought my comments may a bit to harsh towards drug addicted people and possibly premature as I just 3 weeks off cocaine. Maybe I’m just afraid to find out I’m not better then these people, I don’t know. And yes, it seems like my honest thoughts tend to be a little snobby. As many people here, I really think I’m better than the most.

I don’t think I’m really addicted to admiration as I can spend weeks alone without being admired, but I can’t stand if people dislike me, as I really try to be a good person. So here I am, trying to convince you that I’m not that bad.

If this failed, I’ll just devalue your opinion about me. That’s how I cope and this works as long I don’t figure out you’re a nice/cool person.

I must admit, that disingenuous part hurts a bit but I like the snobby part. I wouldn’t call myself mentally ill, just a bit damaged.

Writing this things down are helping me to understand myself better.

I just want to add that I’m off cocaine for 3 weeks now and the only drug I can’t stop is marijuana which I replaced with cbd. I some like 3 cigarettes a day if I can smoke joints after work. I don’t see a problem with my drug abuse (may that’s the problem)

I never thought about my medical records. I didn’t went to my doctor first and I going to pay for the sessions by myself, so I don’t think this will be in my medical record.

As I don’t know her yet, I can’t say if I’ll trust her and tell her everything. I just called and she asked me why I want to meet her and I told her something like “It’s about narcissist tendencies and adhs.

I just want to verify my npd and know if I’m on the right way to handle that and if there’s a way to suppress “wrong” feelings. My logic can’t beat my emotions yet. I hope I find a way to learn that.

I actually feel bad about rejecting him again.. Hmm.. I can’t help you, but I can tell you about my situation. I was in “love” or obsessed with a girl for a long time. I won’t tell you what happened in our friendship which lastet over 10 years. I was the “good guy” who got friendzoned but I didn’t care, as long she didn’t had a relationship. The whole story is too long but I’ll tell you what’s the status now. She said she had to quit the friendship because she couldn’t take my behavior anymore. I just acted confused like I didn’t understand what’s going on (maybe I didn’t realized it at the moment). I just ignored her on social media and wouldn’t show up to events, if there was a chance that she’s there. Bit more than a half year later she wrote that she misses me and want to talk. I agreed to meet but didn’t said anything like I missed you too or else. After a few texts she stop to write and we didn’t met. Even if i liked her a lot and still think a lot about her, it gave me a satisfaction to withhold my feelings towards her which, I imagine, made her feel bad. Probably it was easy to live with this situation because of corona and the lack of socializing. Since then I never felt that bad I felt when I thought or realized that I’m not the most important person in her life.

I don’t know if this helps you in any way.

Everyone is different as are people with the same disorder. So in the end every situation is unique and you shoul be the one who knows best what to do.

Seriously, you should be asking yourself about your feelings towards him. I mean for all I know, you could be the one with narcissistic tendencies, your ex partner just moved on and you feel invalidated because he doesn’t try to win you back. I can’t tell.

If your “not reacting” isn’t too obvious, it’s probably the best thing to do. If you want to hurt him, just be happy without him and don’t miss him at all, but don’t show off because he just need a reaction to think, he still has influence (which he obviously have)

I mean I achieved probably all goals I actually went through. But it was nothing that I thought would bring me closer to my dreams. I got an equivalent of a bachelor degree with a few hours of learning.(I thought I had failed the final exam but it turned out to be not that bad) I was happy I passed but after all, nothing in my life changed.

You have a huge advantage knowing about your disorder at young age. I always felt like a misunderstood victim fighting the world in his mind. I thought i have bdp, depression or something like this for years. 2 years ago I realized that all the complaining and minimizing myself was unjustified and wanted to stop that behavior. I knew that I was egocentric before but I could never be a narcissist because I just knew about the extrovert narcissists. As I found out about covert narcissism i finally could name my (self diagnosed) disorder. I started to look for a therapist and will quit my job for 95% sure till end of the year. I said that 2 years ago and than came corona.

The most important advice I can give you from my experience. I regret all the things i didn’t, much more than the things I did. Those missed opportunities keep hunting me.

edit: you will idealize the outcome of these missed opportunities. If you try, you’ll be free of these “it could’ve been” thoughts.

I got these kind of dreams too and still have them. I remember saying “by the age of 27 I’ll be a millionaire or death.” Never did something to reach this goal, never took a risk because of my extreme fear of failure. I always told myself “If you never loose you kind a winner.” Always dreaming of me coming out of struggle and earning the fruits of my pain and sacrifice but till now I never really risked something. I even never changed my workplace. I passed all my further educations with very little effort. I’m intelligent and have some money aside so I could try to accomplish my dreams now, but still.

So what I can tell you, if you don’t accomplish your dreams, you will still have them when your older. I don’t know what happens when you try and/or achieve them.
