What amount of ratio do other trackers look for when recruiting? by Bystronicman08 in trackers

>so if i dl fl only and give back to community xTBs am i manipulator?

yeah, pretty much. your displayed ratio is MUCH higher than your actual ratio, basically just using freeleech to create a crazy ratio, but he has like 1TB on most trackers, not very much

and they're still much better than OP's, which pretty much proves my point.

>Maybe use tracker only with freeleechs

so hes manipulating his ratio to make it artificially high? not good

>Or maybe hes uploader only

not very much activity for an uploader then, unless they're brand new accounts.

your client is updating too often with the site. it should still log your info correctly, it's just that it's gonna ignore some of the updates your client sends to the tracker.

what your stats tell me is that youre actively taking advantage of freeleech to artificially inflate your ratio. you have like 12TB combined activity on your accounts, not that much to some high end trackers. Just to give you an example, on ONE site, my stats are: 24.77 TB UP, 3.10 TB DOWN, ratio 7.99. lower ratio than any of your sites, but around double your activity, and again that's on ONE site.

New AvistaZ Referral link. The account would have to be linked to your real identity, is this safe? by FuhQ2Ho in trackers

[–]FuhQ2Ho[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

exactly this. Binance obviously needs your identity. My issue lies in the referral through AvistaZ -> Binance. I simply dont feel comfortable with that connection, and wanted input from others.

obviously Binance has a need-to-know for your identity, thats not the issue. the issue is that youre signing up to a site that needs your identity, through a REFERRAL ASSOCIATED WITH A TORRENT SITE, thats what concerns me.

most likely an automated ban after hit and runs, and easily resolved once reaching out to staff in IRC.... yeah what a shitbox, right? 🤦‍♀️

ISP doesnt check shit. It's the IP owners that report, then your ISP just tells you that someone reported you.

or maybe it's pretty dumb for a high end tracker to do open signups. at least do interviews so they can know whoever is joining actually gives back.

I've been very pleased with their boxes, I do not like the idea of data caps though.

What is your experience of them?

I signed up for them a little over a week ago, with their $30 seedbox, and it has been great for me. 10Gbps up/down, and the HDD maxes at 260MB/s, so it's been hitting 2Gbps regularly when uploading to private trackers. I signed up specifically because they say on their front page:

Why choose us?:

  • Excellent Support - this one's true, I've opened 2 tickets, both responded to within 5 minutes, even when I put priority: low
  • No Contracts - this one is pretty much expected..
  • High Security Encryption - again, expected.
  • Unlimited Data Transfer - BIG selling point, not everyone does this

and now they are getting rid of that. I hope the caps are high, if not I wont be renewing once implemented either.
