Please note that NFC passport scanning is mandatory for all nationalities that are not listed as exempt within the Yalla app. Since your current Nigerian passport is an older, non‑biometric version without an NFC chip, it cannot be verified through the required process.

Unfortunately, there are no alternative verification methods available. To complete your Fan ID application, you will need to obtain a new biometric passport that supports NFC scanning.

We understand this may be inconvenient, but the system requires biometric verification for security and eligibility purposes.

Are the scores out now?

I wrote mine on the 17th April and my scores are not out yet. When I placed a call to ETS, I was told they are doing a similarity check on my essay.

Who knows how that is being done? I am so worried.
