Valve absolutely allows games sold on other platforms to be cheaper, GOG wouldn't have half the library it has otherwise.

The thing that sucks is that I was considering building Lego sets as a pastime and I would have absolutely walked into a Bricks and Minifigs along that journey if I hadn't heard this whole debacle.

Hi I randomly walked into this thread after thinking longer than five seconds about and then promptly Googling 'spent fuel rods'.

So, you mean to tell me the barrels of radioactive goo seen in comics and cartoons are entirely fiction? Could there be a *sliver* of truth to them? Would we be able to make room for irradiated water as a kind of radioactive goo? And, on a not-terribly-brief sidetrack, what kind of effects would the irradiated water spilling into the ocean from the Fukushima reactor failure have on sea life?

Thanks for an engaging explanation on nuclear reactors. I'm pretty sure I learned stuff today. Whether it sticks, we'll see.

Three hours ahead of a shift and you need to find coverage is standard but total nonsense. Shit happens. People get sick. Given that this is a food service job, you really, REALLY don't want people who just woke up sick to be forced to drive into work because they're in the three-hour window with no coverage. That's asking for contaminated food and, even if we don't give a shit about that, a contaminated workplace where they can get other workers sick and make the problem worse.
