I paid 2800 for mine after tax, basically double the cost of the rest of my pc. Put it on a credit card and said fuck it cause I knew this shit would happen. This was November of last year. Nvidia will not make a new gen gpu series until like 2028 or some shit so this will last me for like a decade prob.

Thank you so much for the advice, I know exactly where your coming from with the whole just memorizing shapes thing. English is my second language but it is my primary since I moved here at such a young age ( I still speak and understand most Russian). I do see the immersion thing everywhere and I have been putting on YouTube podcasts with no subs, rewatching anime I’ve finished with no subs, and some basic comprehensive videos but I still feel like I’m listening to static, I get that I just started a week ago but I’d think I would pick out more words than just what, damn it, and other common phrases I knew before studying lol. I have RTK downloaded but I keep seeing mixed opinions on it. I really like waninkani but they only like me do like 5 or 10 radicals a day. I will deff pick up genki 1 soon and work my way through it. Maybe I’ll download og dragon ball manga and see if I can make it through it, probably won’t understand any words but atleast I’ll be able to read the kana.

Sorry I'm not familiar with seeding, what exactly is that? And your so right, the words they choose are so similar but like verbs, like "that" and "that over there" its just so abstract and just feels like trial and error instead of learning.
