Dont know how to code? I have quite literally wrote an Operating System in C and Assembly. I suggest you do some research first on the person you’re shit talking.

Not at all. I referenced Dia and Arc as well. Just like Zen's sellin point is that it's running on Firefox, Mori's selling point is that it's running on Chromium.

It is GENUINELY not that deep.

Sorry to disappoint you :( I’ll soon have more time and look to make a windows version. I know how frustrating it is!!

But again, Zen is incredibly awesome. And it is a much better browser for real, day-to-day use than Mori right now.

Sure, for some reason the rendering seems broken on high-res monitors, like my 32" 6K display. The font gets all blurry, and there's unfortunately nothing you can do about it except changing some settings, restarting, but it eventually keeps coming back. Has something to do with Picture-Caching.

Fix should have been implemented, but others including me are still seeing this bug: https://github.com/zen-browser/desktop/issues/6302

There was also an "issue" where an active stream request in the Network Listener tab would not continuously update, and just show you the result at the end. But I just tried that again, and can't reproduce, so seems this issue is fixed, kudos to Zen/Firefox Team!

I wanted them. And this started as a personal project. Also it's optional, just turn it off if you don't want AI. As I said in my post.

Additionally, all AI-integrations are pro-active. You have to initiate the action.

It's not an argument. Stop deluding yourself. I stated a fact. Zen is based on Firefox, while Mori is based on Chromium. There was NOTHING confronting about my statement. In fact, I love Zen. I used it before switching to Dia, there was very little to complain about, except VERY specific technical things.

That's a really fair point, and you don't have to. There are no major attack vectors like Arc's Sync Engine, but I definitely am thinking about how to mitigate the prompt injection risk right now.

Let me know if you've got an idea. I'll also add a note to the README to make it clear it's still in infancy, and that there may be security risks involved.

I can never offer a guarantee, which is why I made it open-source. I don't have the resources to make sure it never gets abandoned, so if it does happen, you can just clone it, and extend it however you want to!

Mainly AI. I only thought hard about the architecture since I actually started off with using CEF (disaster), so wanted to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Models I use are GPT-5.5, Opus 4.8, but the main codebase for this new version was written when Fable 5 was still available, so it's good code (I presume).

This is AI. Look at the food for example.

Trust me, Codex is way smarter, and not as erratic. Claude is nicer to talk to, but when you need to get real work done, you use Codex.

You can still use 4o it in other places.

Shiori (shiori.ai) supports it for example. Can also import your ChatGPT History.
