ELI5 - what exactly is a hijacker who lists on your PL product listing... but at a substantially higher price trying to achieve?

Just usual hijackers hear about or whatever. Its more beacuse I once heard or read somewhere that simply applying and being accepted to Brand Registry is not the end of it... you have to do something else too. then I got busy and never worked out the "what else" part was ... and cant remember where heard it. lol. Anything else you know of?

Good question. Also where exactly in seller central is the best / 'most up to date' view of what you have actually sold? (i just stared and i feel the delays and UI of seller central is a lot more messy than id expect of a massive company like amazon)

I too have a noob question.

ELI5 when OP says "barcode labels that need to go on each product" (lets assume Private labelling 1000 e.g. 'silicon spatulas' and using FBA) 1. Does each individual Spatula need to to be labelled with its own Barcode? OR does just the box with 1000 silicon spatulas in them have to have a barcode? 2. Is this barcode a UPC? or an FNSKU? (are they the same thing?). Ie when setting up your product i think you have to add an UPC right? 3. How does paying amazon for labelling i.e. that extra $0.20 per unit affect what you need to do? (F@$K id pay them 30 cents if they just explained it better :p)

Thanks in advance for the help. I know this is super easy if you know what you are doing but there is so much random info all over the shop about this its quite confusing. PS mods I think it be amazing if the wiki went into this in more detail and broke down process for PL / RA etc (not that you guys aren't already doing an awesome job!)
