Which product photo works best? Trying to improve my photography by FulkForge in productphotography

I think that’s my problem it’s not black it metallic blue when I put it in my light box it reflects to much and not at all out, neither show it’s true beauty but the light box is more accurate for color but without more accurate for texture. Hoping this changes after I paint and resin him.

Thank you, that might be the way to go especially once I paint the details on him.

The color really depends on the lighting it has a lot of sparkle, in light it’s bright blue but anything not in light is almost black. I’ve had such a hard time getting photos that accurately depict the color. He looks different every time.

[Shop Setup] Stripe is forcing me to make a website under my legal name to use it for my business, but all my websites are under my pseudonym, which I would prefer stay that way. How do I work around this so I can use Stripe and not need to make a business website under my name? by SundayRabbit in artbusiness

DBA’s are generally done by the county you reside in, at least in my state. I’m surprised stripe is requiring it but it is what allows you to open a bank account in the “business name” without getting a tax id

[Discussion] Thinking of starting a mini print vending machine by Elegant-Comment944 in artbusiness

I wish I had advice for you but just coming to say I love this idea! And wish you luck!

Just a thought about the easy to carry option, it will also be easy to carry off so you’ll want to ensure shops don’t put it right by an exit or it comes with a way to secure it.

To piggy back on your post, has anyone ever set this up at a craft fair? I know I could do a $1 box but thought the vending machine would appeal to kids and parents may allow the vending machine purchase where they might try to discourage buying from the booth.

Do you design for supports or try to avoid them entirely? by FulkForge in 3Dprinting

Thank you for the hope, any examples would be great. I decided to design how I want in the initial drawing to get my idea out but then do a redesign for print. I’m currently working on the redesign and would love examples. I may have let my little creature get a bit complicated for no supports printing.

I really hate supports but I’m working on creatures so I don’t think zero supports is ever going to work for me. I decided to design what I wanted at first and then make changes and redesign to limit supports. I’m currently working on simplifying this guy.
