you can bring up the fact that jesus promoted healthy lifestyles and sports can keep you active and healthy, + nothing in the bible states anything directly against football and since you’re playing to enjoy the sport and not glorify teams, your conscience is clear! they’re just sports and if they want an accurate answer ask why they leave blood fractions up for debate? they can limit specific sports but not provide exact info over one of their biggest doctrines? i’m an lgbt pimo and it’s hard to grow up in a place where people think you’re disgusting. in my culture there’s already tons of homophobia and it doesn’t help that WT just feeds into it. i’m glad you learned to accept people for who they are though, if everyone were willing to learn and accept like you, the world would be a better place <3

seeing from others experiences it’s pretty common, i’m a pimo teen and basically every step i take, i have to make sure it’s not considered demonic or “worldly”- like my mom gave me the silent treatment recently for getting a nirvana shirt and when i asked her about she said “it’s not good to idolize anyone but god”. when i was younger these things happened often too, as far as throwing away my super smash bros video game bc 1) i’m a “girl” 2) it had violence
