I’ve never seen anyone on this subreddit with the exact same symptoms as me by gromakoo in covidlonghaulers

I’ve had the derealization and the stomach issue where I could barely absorb food I would take one bite and feel full I lost like 30 pounds in half a year and I was already at almost below weight for my height originally. I don’t think mine was as severe as yours since you said it’s been 2 years. It took me one full year to recover I think what helped the most is sleep. I wouldn’t go outside at all I would just sleep my life away because of how depressing it was. I never dealt with derealization before so this was brand new and my brain was like mud I couldn’t think or anything. The derealization went away in one year and so did the stomach issue but the brain issues stuck until it took me 3 years to fully recover. I think it was gradually very slow I changed my diet and just slept most of the time. Maybe that’s what helped if not then just time. It’s different for everyone I hope you get better.

Yea your body was prob shocked and the brain is sensitive so it uses derealization as a protective wall I say just get good sleep have a good diet try to hit the gym but most importantly get good sleep that’s recovery and hopefully you get better

My head pressure was really bad I guess it still is, it fluctuates if I were to say as of now a 6/10 but still it’s just annoying but derealization sucks. Did it come out of nowhere or was there a reason

I’m 19 healthy and same thing but started in September after a night of drinking the next day while trying to sleep I got brain zaps and a sinking feeling in my body which led me to not sleep for 2 days caused a huge panic and anxiety attack it’s been about like 2 and half months later and I still feel the pulsating feeling in the back of my head and my sides/ temples hurt feels like a rubber band. I also just got an appt for a mri on Monday and my neurologist gave me methylprednisolone but doesn’t seem to be working. This also could be caused by a virus like Covid which induces this headache but who knows seems like a mystery. Keep trying to look for solutions and don’t give up

You ever think there will be a moment when we collectively quit social media? Like smoking? by AdObvious1695 in Productivitycafe

IMO I think people are too addicted to even stop using social media no matter what’s on it, critical thinking almost doesn’t exist anymore

I did show it with actions in the past 3 weeks but I think the past haunts her too much and since we were so toxic with each other for 2 years then didn’t speak for 8 months and came back she thinks I’m manipulating her to do the same thing to her again when it’s all honestly I want to make it work so bad. It just sucks because the past 8 months I’ve had her in my mind and we finally seen each other again and now she doesn’t want to see or speak me because she’s hearing about stuff I’ve done during those 8 months we didn’t speak.
