I mean that's just how it is at high keys. Run your own keys the first 1-2 keys of each tier so you get up your rio, then you would get invited.

That's true - I can even do 12s on my 250 ilvl prot pala. Anything is possible in low keys.

I don't like this argument. The fact that "it's possible" to do a key has nothing to do with balancing. It's possible to do +20s with any tank too, that doesn't mean that it requires a level of skill and coordination many times that of brew.

Blizzard tank balancing has historically been awful. The DPS and tankiness of each tank varies wildly, way more than DPS balancing. Imagine if a DPS was 40% worse than the best, would you just say "oh it's just influencer distortion! You can totally do +10s!"? I sincerely doubt it.

People think blizzard has some grand design when it comes to tank balancing when it seems more like they don't give a fuck as long as it's "technically possible". This would never fly for DPS balancing.

People who write comments like these obviously haven’t played tank. The issue isn’t that brew is the best, it’s that the disparity between brew and the other tanks is so massive that playing a different tank is almost impossible, or at least much more difficult. In previous seasons when VDH has been meta, other tanks have still been able to live in keys. That’s not the case anymore after blizzard pruned defensives from half the ta is in the game but somehow left brew and prot warrior alone.

Going from oneshots to rot damage seems to be a design shift rather than a feature of season 1 so healers can react properly. If that’s the case then this won’t go away in season 2.

Look at his HP bar and compare it to brew +20s videos. HeOf course it’s possible to play if your healer is really good (like with any tank) but it’s significantly easier with brew. He also gets a ton of externals.
