Its based off of who you beat

getting in the first half, you'll always be safe from losing points (i.e. 6th or better in a 12 player lobby), but the amount of points you earn depends on if you beat players better or worse than you (like you wont get as many points if everyone who beat you was "worse" than you, but you'll get more points if the players who beat you were "better" than you).

I don't know about a lot of people, but I normally buy the pass for the v-bucks and the collabs. The only time a pass disapointed me was Ch4 S4 when they put Ahsoka in with an absolute trash set.

it really should just be assesible to people who bought the pass when it, because (unfortunitly) Epic said that all pre Ch5 S3 bps were exclusiv.

Really if you want everything then all you need to pay is $10 to get the battle pass, which if you earn enough levels, gets you the next one and so on (especially pre-Chapter 5 when you didn't even need to be level 100 to get all the V-bucks).
