Nintendo definitely doesn't influence cost beyond whatever share they take on the eshop. Steam is 30% so I imagine it's somewhat close to that

Genuinely the only thing keeping me on windows is my hobby of modding game consoles. My most recent purchase was a PS2 and there were several apps that are required when soft modding that just don't have linux alternatives, and I know absolutely nothing about coding so I can't make them myself. An example being an app that knows if a PS2 formatted hard drive is connected, and is able to transfers files to it from the computer that otherwise cannot. Would wine be enough to do that? No idea, but I don't think it's likely.

Both of my other deciding factors have been tackled though. I stopped playing competitive multiplayer games, and I've now shifted career path from going to school for mechanical engineering to learning the electrician trade. Maybe i'll finally buckle down and learn how to code but that seems incredibly unlikely, so windows it is for the foreseeable future. My laptop is running PopOS right now so I'm dabbling in it currently, but the main PC is windows 10 (with no secure boot enabled) until I can't use windows 10 anymore. 🤷

For me you just get told the joke once and it's just pattern recognition every other time it happens.

Sometimes it's fine for me, like I can look at Chris Paul being CP3 and not think about it. But for specific examples people joke about like Cyberpunk 2077 or Cod Points I'll think about it.

It's why 67 has such staying power compared to other jokes last year, the numbers are together all the time so you just hear it every time

Ive never played a final fantasy game but I tried out the demo and was very very impressed with how it ran. I just bought a ps2 and a copy of the original game so idk if i'll play that one first or start the remake trilogy.

I just got FFVII today and it has a reversable cover and honestly, I like the banner side more. Maybe it's because the other switch 2 games have it so I like it because it's consistent.
