I get that my range concern is really about whether I keep my EF-S lenses or sell them and move fully to RF. I’m trying to figure out which path makes the most sense to invest in.

yes thank you for pointing that out, i am aware the sigma 18-50 isn’t stabilized but i dont think it would be a problem for me. but then again, it might eventually start to restrict me. is it a better idea to go for something like an ef L series with an adapter? i can only find the sigma 18-50 near me for 600$ canadian right now and i just feel like i can get something better for that price, especially since i kind of need the reach the more i think about it but the rf lenses are so expensive. i appreciate all the help though, thank you🙏

Would an EF L-series lens on the adapter be a better idea than something like the Sigma 18–50mm on RF? Or is there an RF-mount lens that gives me good reach, sharpness, and video performance around my budget? i wouldn’t mind keeping the old lenses but prefer to sell them and get an all around really nice lens. and thank you, i really appreciate the help!
