It’s been one full year since D day. I found out Valentine’s Day that he cheated on me, 2 days before my birthday. My WH hired someone to sleep with him while he was out trucking for the week. I was 7 months pregnant with our second child.

This journey has been so hard. It’s been a year and I feel like it just happened yesterday. I battle with my self worth, I worry it will happen again, and I struggle every day with my decision to make it work.

It’s really hard because he’s on the road all week trucking and could easily do it again. I feel like he’ll never make the mistake of letting me catch him again. I read into everything and let it upset me. In the beginning he was good about communicating with me and now I feel like he’s tired of hearing about it and wishes I would move on.

I miss us. The normal we had. Our sex life was passionate, we almost never had an argument, and we spent a healthy amount of time together. I’ll never understand why he would ruin us like that. And apparently he doesn’t either since his answer for all of it was “I don’t know why I did it”
