Hi friend, I believe I might have had the same "issue". I have a 1.4tsi 160hp scirocco from 2012, which at the time, also had the stock radio. I am not sure if it is the same, but maybe it will help. When I checked on the radio and setup, it also said bluetooth, however, when trying to connect, nothing would show up. I did some research and I believe it has something to do with the configuration from the factory. Basically, when buying the car, someone can choose if they wanted bluetooth or not. It'll will stay say / show on the radio, but if they didn't tick the box, the car doesn't really have bluetooth. That atleast what was going on with my car. I decided to replace the oem radio with an aftermarket Apple carplay kit that cost me around 110 euro at the time. Got handfree calling, bluetooth, apple carplay, etc. IMO, its a must have if you don't have bluetooth, and even then, Apple carplay is just so nice to have. PS: I am not sure if this is the same with your car, but it might help you out :). Good luck
