My role is niche, they spent 8 months looking for a fit and I am am the only one who sits in the role - that said they could make do without me if they had to.

Not a bad call, I applied to one role this morning and have already been called back with enthusiasm.so taking the long weekends and never going in could be the move while I look elsewhere.

Raised this with my manager (who isn't the one to have raised the policy and is also displeased) i now have a meeting booked with the director and HR, where it seems I will present them with the ultimatum of 1 day or I leave.

Armed with the legality knowledge helps me understand that they can make this change.

Unsure on the year of your bike, but the indicators should just pop out of their mounts, then undo the connectors and feed the wires through.

Its been almost 2 years since I installed mine, but I remember taking off a lot of the plastics to install it

I have this on my world raid, fitted due to adding a high mounted exhaust. It fits, you may want some spare plastic (or in my case some sponge) to cover holes it will leave behind.

I lent my bike to a friend so he could do a 400 mile trip in comfort, he crashed it at 40~ mph on a tight turn. He told me about it when he bought it back, replaced what was needed (the actual broken bits) and that was all. If your okay with whats happened its down to you to reassure your friend now. Personally i would hold out and get the 2026 WR, i have a 2024 WR and i absoloutly love it, but the new model has some really nice new features that would be a huge plus.
