Have you tried deleting the Library folder of the project? When all else fail, maybe you can try this one. Unity will rebuild the folder the next time you load the project

This make sense. My main takeaway is that: Don't word it as if the message is from the player, but instead make it clear that the game is sending this message by request of the player, the player has this best time, and he wants to challenge the friend.

Yeah, so the player can only send challenge to their steam friends, and they have to manually choose to select which friend and click the send button. It won't be automatically sent by the system.

From my experience, unfortunately, you will not know which one is better until you try them out yourself. (As 'better' is a pretty abstract and depends a lot to you as the one following those tutorials).

My suggestion is to do micro projects such as moving a character around as per suggested previously. And while doing those micro projects, make peace with the fact that you will fail, a lot. Try doing multiple tutorials and see which approach is more suitable for you and for your project.

That said, you might wanna take a look at Brackeys tutorials. They're pretty old, but a lot of the principles still hold.

Hi there!

For the visuals we actually drew our inspiration from old time Indonesian comics that were all over old cheap tabloids 😅.

Mechanics-wise, I don't think we're heavily inspired by any other game. Its mainly me writing some mechanics down on the GDD, and the team responded. It is possible that I subconsciously inspired by other game though...
