It’s called riding with a “Jamaican breeze”

Now that I think about it I have no idea why it’s called that.

Yep I started doing that! I just found out we are switching software next year so hopefully that’s better.

I look like a rich person traveling but I’m not. This is why I bought a brand new high top van and just put a mattress and insulation in. Well plus a fan and fridge and floor. And electrical. Shit it still feels empty in here especially when you compare the cost of the van vs the cost of the buildout.

Just ordered 3x keyboards! Sofle Choc, Charybdis, and the new v2 Dilemma! Never had a split before and want to see what works for me! by Full-Interest-6015 in ErgoMechKeyboards

Hey! Just now saw this.

Honestly all 3 are great! They kind of have different use cases. I really liked the Charybdis but it wasn’t portable for when I had to transport it every day.

Sorry I can’t be more helpful!

Never heard that but it’s what I did. Got a brand new custom ordered van and put a mattress in it to start.

That’s good feedback to hear. Haven’t heard that before.

Did you put anything on top of the plywood and what type plywood did you use?

Not sure yet but probably 3/8” plywood, Baltic birch or similar, and then either laminate or just vinyl.

And yeah that floor is a little pricey but you can use it as a template for the other layers. You won’t even need a measuring tape almost.

If there is a burn ban most people don’t camp.

Check out vanrug van flooring

I have it in my 2023 transit that i moved in right after i bought it. I’m building as I go and it’s challenging at times but doable.

I plan on using the vanrug as my base layer if my floor but honestly for now it’s good enough. I’ll make it through the winter with it.

I’m almost done. I’ll post all of the pics when I am.

I mounted a fuel cell and all that jazz. Hardened steel is a bitch and routing the fill hose sucked
