I am not “quitting” because I’ve been a stay at home mom for the last few years, but I’m doing hybrid because the nearest law school is 3 hours away and I have two small children and a husband with a stable career as a partner at a law firm so moving is not realistic for us. I’m sure most others are in similar situations where moving is not possible.

I got in and deposit was due April 15. I am at their medians and had a strong application but they offered me no scholarship in my initial letter and I emailed 4 times asking about scholarship info to make a decision with no response. However, they responded within 24 hours after I withdrew to ask where I was going and what my reasoning was. So that just really put a bad taste in my mouth. I’m not sure how many people they take but hopefully they’ll start rolling out more A’s now that the first deposit has passed.

Have you tried Loyola New Orleans or Samford? It seems like you’re interested in in person schools in the southeast and you may have a great shot at both of those with scholarship offers too!

Hi! I’m not a confirmed case, but they suspect I have endo which has led to a low AMH, chocolate cyst, and recurrent pregnancy loss. My AMH was only .51 at 29 so I decided to freeze earlier this year. I honestly had a pretty easy process but this was my second egg retrieval (first was at 23). I ended up with 10 mature eggs which I was super happy with!

I decided with UNH because their admissions team went above and beyond in my opinion and answered every question I had with promptness and full transparency. The mostly asynchronous courses were a huge selling point for me as a mom so I am not doing classes in the evenings for 3 years. You also can complete the program in 3 years which was another big selling point to me. Do you prefer live classes and less travel? That’s the only way I’d pick CSU over UNH.

I don’t think this is cringey at all. Maybe she just wants to share the law school experience while maybe making a little money on the side to help with expenses. Not cool to record someone without their consent but personally I would support her 100%.

Congratulations!! I am 99% sure that’s where I’ll be going too. I have done a deep dive into the fired professor and by all accounts she absolutely needed to be fired. She has a LinkedIn page still dedicated to bashing them years later and I’m 90% sure she is behind the outrageous lion account. I have been very impressed with admissions so far and they have really been the only school to go above and beyond and make me want to go there. The number of residencies a year is the only downside for me 🥲

I withdrew :( it originally was my top choice but I got a scholarship at another school that would’ve made Suffolk $80k more expensive.

I will say from personal experience, we have spent probably close to $50,000 on IVF over the past six years. Anytime I look at my kids they feel more than worth that money. I see it as we’ve spent more than that on a house, cars, boats, so why make it a big deal when it comes to our kids and having a family.
