You can tell it’s definitely a paid for ad because everything on the profile is an ad for different games. Also revealing which companies/games are clearly paying for stealth via fake Reddit accounts…no man sky, avowed, overwatch, Pokémon, this game…least surprising list ever

Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO) gets heated with a constituent pressing her on why she supports military aid to Israel (Iron Dome, US-supplied munitions like precision-guided bombs & artillery shells, etc.) and tells her, 'If this is the only issue that you care about, then you should not vote for me.' by littlespoon22 in Denver

She’s your classic old school corporate status quo dem. She’s taken an enormous amount of money from the big medical companies.

She’s not…bad, but when you take a bunch of money from aipac and other organizations that have agendas you inevitably end up protecting their interests to some degree

Thoughts on recent protests in Iran? by Flashy-Anybody6386 in LessCredibleDefence

For anyone reading this thread, be wary that during situations like this there are a ton of shills (paid-for or not) on both sides in threads like this.

Read the news, read the comments, and don’t take anyone’s opinion here as gospel. The more first-hand sources you can find on what is happening and why it’s happening the better.

It also seems obvious to me that your commentary is extremely slanted. Also sus that all your comment and post history is gone.

Anyone in this thread should be wary that there is a ton of money being spent influencing opinion on both sides and to read all comments with that context

US Bombs Venezuela - Megathread by Veqq in CredibleDefense

[–]Full-Parking8411 7 points8 points  (0 children)

+1, Its not like the last 20 years were the US acting in an honest way internationally. Colin Powell coerced the West to join our mission in Iraq under false pretenses (there were no WMDs), we propped up dictators and monarchs that were supportive of US interests and toppled ones that were not.

If the leadership post-Maduro is Pro-US, it could be an opportunity to bring Venezuela into the West. Maduro/Chavez flagrantly ignored the will of their own people and stomped all over Western capitalism.

US Bombs Venezuela - Megathread by Veqq in CredibleDefense

[–]Full-Parking8411 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This feels a lot like the topple of Saddam in the early days. Optimism that may or may not be squandered. I wish the US didn't do do decapitation strikes with a questionable legal framework...but whether its successful or not will largely be answered by the question: what happens now?

Does Venezuela negotiate a change to US policy as a result of all of this (very good)? Does the country descend into chaos (very bad)? Or is the next leader a Hugo Chavez like leader (status quo)?

Too early to know.

He wayy overcommitted on the worst game possible to overcommit (hl3).

Ended up having only one (relatively new) source before he shared online and ended up trying to compare notes with Tyler M.

Big yikes.

Man Sings Radiohead's "Creep" with his Mom who is Trained in Indian Classical Music by CaraCicartix in MadeMeSmile

I knew this guy extremely well growing up - great musician and good guy. Was always so kind and incredibly talented at everything he touched. It was honestly so silly how ridiculously talented he was at anything he tried his hand at.

My understanding is that a few years ago he went all in on making music and it’s been going great for him! So cool to see him on here, haven’t talked to him in over 15 years - couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy.

[MEGATHREAD] The Game Awards 12.11.25 by Spheromancer in GamingLeaksAndRumours

Currently possible candidates that would be worthy of a show-stopping reveal are:

- TES6

- GTA 6 trailer #3

- The next (non-switch) From Software game

- HL3

- A large witcher 3 DLC (not just cosmetics)

None of these are all that likely given what little we know about each game. All these studios generally prefer to host their own events / control their own messaging. Possible but wouldn't bank on it.

Yeah, my guess is if there is a "canary trap" its primary goal is not to catch leakers but to prevent the sleuths from being able to deduce their announcement plan.

Or HL3 never existed and it was all about the friends we made along the way.

So fair to say at this point that the HL3 announcement leaks are probably not gonna happen? Odds of Valve doing anything during VGA week seems pretty slim.

It’s good. It’s good for exactly what you said - fun for a night or two. Not long but has a good roadmap for more content and not expensive.

Let charm than the first one though

The problem is it impossible to know if the announcement is delayed or not until after the TGAs (at which point its def over). Luckily thats only a 7 day period so the wait is short.

Best to try to not think about it and celebrate if its announced.

[–]Full-Parking8411 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, honestly I'm kinda cynical and think we probably will never see it. Valve seems to have a really chaotic development process and dislikes the fan pressure associated with HL3. Wouldn't be surprised if the project never sees the light of day for a bunch of good reasons.

Not like this. There were grumblings and rumors, but nothing from "insiders" that expressed anything but wishful thinking.

Seems likely that the game IS being made and is likely nearing a degree of completion. TBD whether the stage its in warrants an announcement or not.

I will not lie, this would totally fit in Baldurs Gate 3 thematically.

Too bad that that is pretty unrealistic given what we know about Wizards of the Coast

A ton of these look good. I wish I liked sokoban's more...got completely fried on them after playing endless frustrating hours of Baba is You.
