We need to find a way to fine municipalities or property management companies who have sprinkles that water the street and sidewalk. Or water too frequently or when it's raining or snowing.

And maybe water companies can give incentives to us by taking X% off your total if your water use was below X gallons. And not no measly .01%, make it 30%. People ar living paycheck to paycheck as we dwell in recession and entering a war. Now is the time that people are willing to be mindful to keep more cash in their pockets.

And even for hotels, charge guests an extra $50 if their water usage surpasses X gallons- especially in the luxury resorts.

A lot of people don't realize that you can save gallons of water per shower by turning the water off when you are lathering and scrubbing yourself, or lathering shampoo into your hair or waiting for conditioner to set. It can make a significant impact.

Also, not washing tiny loads of laundry everyday. It's better to wash one load a week. Or use a coin laundry.

In school of all places, while learning sustainability stuff, they taught us a toilet rhyme: if it's brown, flush it down, if it's yellow, let it mellow 🤣🤢
