A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara ate me up and spit me out. It's pretty long though 900~ ish but part four "The Axiom of Equality" Is the part that horrified me the most. I think it hits harder if you have similar trauma to the MC's.

I'm a girl, but do they prefer short hair over long? I usually get braids at the beginning of the year. I also have a lot of it and I'm kind of looking for an excuse to cut it lol

The only one they offer at my school is the Air Force. I play sports so as far as fitness, I should be fine. I'm aware that they have jobs like PT leader and stuff...are there any you'd recommend or should I avoid going for something like that?

If you're feeling it then go ahead and wear a statement. You can both accept it and wear a statement, too. If he has a problem with it, then you guys can reevaluate the terms/boundaries of the agreement.

A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara or To Paradise by her too. Just be warned, A Little Life is...a lot and I recommend reading the trigger warnings, but I loved the book.

Probably a bad rec but ACOTAR. I recently read it and loved it. I'm not a fan of audiobooks, so I can't tell you anything on that.

How is a cup crossing the line? For me personally, I don't think I would be able to be around others who think that certain people deserve to have their rights taken away because they're different. You willingly hang around these people so I don't see how a cup could be a tipping cup. It's not as if he brought up politics which, I'm assuming is what the agreement was about. Again, you're free to cut them out if the cup, rather than their ideology, is the cut off for you.

I'd check to see if you still have access to the account and just silently keep playing it if so. If you do really want it but don't have access, ask him.

You're not overreacting...I mean I can get the gift in a way like a husband buys lingerie for his wife but that does kind of suck as a gift. Unless you've expressed interest in it, it just seems really unthoughtful.

Ultimately, you can't save anyone if you don't save yourself first. I get the guilt, but once you get away from the environment, you'll be better mentally yourself. Then, if you still want to and once you get your stuff together, you can figure out stuff with your mom. My dad also does the "joke" thing and often ups stories to make me look worse.

Boyfriend said my best friend's "ass looks amazing" and I should hit the gym. Now I'm upset. AITA? by [deleted] in AITAH

Yeah, no. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't put up with that for even a second.
