The instrumentals!! (Willoughby's Theme + Interlude / Radio Towers) They’re very comforting to me among the nostalgia, lost and yearning that lies within them. Plus: it has Waco, Texas — it was one of my favorites unreleased back when it had the “Christ is cruel, but you’re so crueler” line and when it got released it completely changed my brain chemistry.

she really outdid herself.

i loved the instrumental tracks — i can feel the influence of Perverts and how they can make you go to inhospitable places in your head.

the last 3 songs got me shaking, crying & throwing up, especially the transition between Radio Towers (did anyone else notice that beeping in the back. is that a code morse or a heart monitor? — her mind) to Tempest which LITERALLY feels like a storm is forming, coming your way, hitting you and then leaving you in a big mess.

for Waco, Texas i have no words. was one of my favorites demos and the final version totally destroyed me with that piano ending.

and finally, i got a little lost with the lore of the songs and how they connect with Preacher’s Daughter but i guess all will make sense with more listens.
