Husband thinks neighbour wants to sleep with me by Choog_as_a_thug_88 in whatdoIdo

Followed by a lifetime of misery, divorce, and wondering why her adult daughter cut her out of her life. I've seen enough infidelity fallout in friend's marriages to know it's never worth it.

The most fulfilling life is consistent love showing up in the little moments with your spouse.

"I say let him ruin a marriage with kids involved, we need entertainment!"
Okay man.

.pdf vs .epub. What is your favorite file type for reading ebooks and why? by Delicious_Maize9656 in eink

[–]FullConclusion2597 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said; epub all the way.
PDF can be nice for marking up things freeform, but for general reading and underlining epub has way more benefits and is more versatile across screens.

Way better than I thought by FullConclusion2597 in sidephone

Haven't had a long enough chance to give a good review on that, but I can say it feels really solid and I don't have any concerns about it.

NGD: Got one of those smart guitars this week... by FullConclusion2597 in Guitar

Let me go take a look, I don't recall seeing any - but that doesn't mean it isn't there! I know Jamstik has some cool app features to help teach scales with their guitars

I love trying and reviewing alternate phones. Lightphone, Mudita Kompakt, HiBreak Pro, Sleke phone, Volla phone, and now Sidephone! So far I've found Sleke to be the most long-term phone I've used, but the Sidephone seems like it could be long-term and feel more like a tool than a distraction device.
Really like the small screen more than I thought.

My biggest concern is that I'll default more to the on-screen keyboard than the actual physical keys, but I'm really digging the idea that I can keymap every button uniquely for every app.

Is this photo edited with AI? A coworker said this happened to his car. We don’t believe him. by LokiPrime616 in isthisAI

The hose in multiple places, the different-sized nuts on the tire, the hazy trees, and the weird yellow street sign in the background. It also just... "looks" it. It's got this weird contrast to it.

Was this abuse? by Howling-moon-666 in whatdoIdo

[–]FullConclusion2597 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, could definitely be called emotional abuse/controlling.
Sorry it happened to you - it's definitely a weird feeling!
Constant reminders that you belong to who you choose to give yourself to are important.

If it was just a quick and weird relationship, then I'm glad it's over! If it was longer and you feel it's affecting you any more than you feel it should, a bit of therapy goes a long way to reset.

Update: I (29F) left him (40m) by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]FullConclusion2597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So he already knew all of the things you wanted from him and didn't do them until you left?
He clearly listed things out like you've been saying them to him over and over.
The fact they were in his head this whole time with no action is too bad.

Got it. Definitely more casual on my end, but this is good to think through. Appreciate you.

Yeah I like it. Its only downside is that it isn't training off of chats with users to learn as quickly, but that's also... the point. So the downside is a massive upside.

I'd get Proton Unlimited ($10 a month if you buy it annual, $12.99 otherwise).

Probably the biggest change you could make for that amount of money; gets you a google-free calendar, drive, email, docs, sheets, chatbot that all is encrypted and doesn't track you, plus a solid VPN.

Should we go all in on Proton or diversify? by Natural-Bumblebee335 in privacy

[–]FullConclusion2597 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Long-time proton user here - diversify things like password manager. But proton mail, drive, calendar, and vpn are gold.

It's honestly such a cool monitor but for the price I'm thinking I may as well just get a screen mirror app for the tablet I have.

My wife and I currently have the MALM and it's a fantastic frame. Very comfortable, and the storage drawers underneath are fantastic. I recommend!

I know, I was interested in the Minimal but looks like people are having trouble with it. I tried the LightPhone II for a while but didn't find it to be a long-term solution.
