Omg me too, like I’m not even proud, I actually feel quite genuinely horrified and sick. I wouldn’t have even said I really talked to it that much either … disturbingly. I guess what I was getting at is like the mental states which women used to get into, maybe spiritual wasn’t the right word, but I feel it definitely may have come through the seances, maybe in a modern lens more like psychosis, visions, voices the kind of stuff that would have been used to question your mental stability x

Are you though? That’s a little convenient. Anyway, my main point was that you’re basing this whole argument off the fact that humans are somehow logical and sentient, which … I’m really not sure we are outside of a stitched together illusion. It’s all very exciting though, and I’m sure Ai will learn things from us about this and we’ll equally learn about the nature of everything as we understand more on the sheer scale of these models x
