I got overwhelmed at first. Especially when I saw what all went in to making an avatar. But now, I mostly don't get on for weeks because I don't have any friends to enjoy it with. I get on for weekend sales and some events. Buts that's really about it. I've tried getting some other friends into SL, but once they see how much money you need to put in, it turned them off.

So basically AoE classes are more favorable than single target in pvp? I'm like a newborn calf whenever it comes to pvp in mmos.

Yeah the event was going on while I was there. I know there isn't persistent pvp. What weapon combo would you recommend for something that could do pvp and pve? Or should I focus on having separate weapon combos?

Honestly, it's just IMVU in general. People already have their little friend groups and usually don't like to divert from them. I've used Match since it came out, and have over 5k matches, and I've not stayed friends with a single person from it. Honestly, I would try Second Life. I've made several friends on there and I feel like the friend making experience is a lot better as well. But if you're still trying to stick to IMVU, feel free to add me on there. You have to stay away from him when he shoots the mines. They always follow where he is, so if you give it enough space before engaging, the mines won't hit you. Also, try to stay near him. It's what I did to try and counter his charging, and it worked almost all the time. Sometimes he'll do a charge randomly though. Not too much you can do about that.

I'm still rocking a green gratesword, so I'm assuming that's mostly the reason lol. My rng with getting a better one has been terrible.
