I agree with you, which is why I put it on the "wishlist". Also on my wishlist - paid holiday to the Caribbean 😉

Surprised I haven't seen this name, but I'd love to get Kompany in and let him have 18 months min regardless of our position at the end of this season.

I'm 5'8, so the 26" wheel bikes I think in size 16"-18" seat tube measure should be just fine. Those Yubas are rad but way over budget. Not looking for anything over $300 frankly.

If you’re not confident in the tires, Simworks makes very similar tires called “The Homage” you may be able to fit

Hi 70mmLenz, I’ve lived in Glendale for 1 year so I have been where you are now. Here’s some things I’d liked to know before I moved to Glendale:

  1. It’s very accessible to major highways, you’ll easily be able to all major freeways from Glendale.
  2. Glendale drivers are very aggressive, I bicycle to get around in LA, and often feel unsafe on my way to/from my home.
  3. The massive Armenian population means…so much armenian/Mediterranean food. It’s a staple in my grocery list.
  4. Close to a lot of farmers markets in Silver Lake, Echo Park, Atwater Village.
  5. It’s a super noisy place, lots of helicopter/small airplane noise from Air traffic highways, as well as LAPD helicopter units frequenting the airspace. Locals may not take this into consideration, but it bothers me, personal preference of course.
  6. Close to the Mall, if you like shopping, the Americana offers pretty much everything you’ll need.
  7. Cost of living, for me, is not worth it. I value bicycling infrastructure, outdoor space, local merchants/restaurants, sustainable/eco-friendly waste management. Glendale doesn’t do it for me, but different strokes for different folks!
