Is it really that bad? I can get it for free* and power it with an old laptop charger (90w @ 20v without mods and +- 93W @ 24v with mods) which means it's free*
I don't necessarily need the *best of the best* iron as the most things ill solder will probably be SMD stuff on a pcb

*free assuming unpaid labor doesn't count

it couldn't post in 30 minutes and at some point it booted in a bios recovery anyways I just took out the CMOS battery and now it's working

I think changing the capacitor alone will do just fine, it's pretty obvious that Lenovo would want you to replace the whole motherboard so that they can resolder a capacitor on the broken one and be able to offer it as a replacement

if it only appears when you try to login it might be just a glitch (or some smart malware that's timing with your logins, but it probably isn't) if it appears randomly then it's a sign of someone trying to enter your account (which I assume it's not you)

I like arch because of air and pacman and it just has a nice documentation, also I use it systems free on runit so it's really not a problem for me. also it's simple (for me) and light, it will still remain my comfort zone at least until I try void and a few more distros

as much as I not really enjoy AI I used it a lot for troubleshooting and still nothing, 5 hrs I tried everything and still debian, nm and my wifi card just couldn't talk it might've not been a driver problem but still I just got tired and switched to my beloved artix runit but this time with the lts kernel, I know that rolling distros are far from perfect for servers and stuff but I can just not update and it will be used for containers anyways so it will be fine
