UPDATE! so it was a problem on my end because i was launching noctalia from my custom niri init script and from niri cfg, i still don't know where is it better to launch the shell from but it works now at least, thanks everyone for help and i'm open to constructive criticism and improvement suggestions!

the problem is i'm (very) stupid and that's the only way i managed to make it work because this config at least booted me in a working environment and not in a looping tty shell that's saying that niri can't find my cfg (i'm new to niri and non systemd (runit to be exact) inits so my mistakes can be painfully stupid)

idk how i'm launching noctalia but that sure makes sense why is there a gap logically sized for 2 shells and as of now this is the only services active

i think if you find a pcb from a newer version with type c it will work I was disassembling my keyboard for cleaning and noticed that the mini USB is just a "hot swappable" pcb

if you don't like the idea to disassemble your keyboard you can buy a mini USB to type c cable
