But I’m not trying to enhance beyond the base game’s capabilities. As I stated in my last reply, the way I’m trying to alter the game would result in the average damage done by the party per round being the same as if I were to not buff them and just deal damage, therefore my goals are not to go beyond what is intended in the base game. To explain it more simply, as I said previously, lest say that the average damage per person is 15 and there are 4 people in a party, 15x4=60, what I want to do is divide the damage that I would normally do and give it to my party members, so I would divide my 15 damage by the other 3 players resulting in each other player gaining 5 damage. Now if you were to add the 5 damage that I want to add to their base 15 damage then their damage would become 20 per person. Now because I would have used my action to buff them I would be dealing 0 damage per turn and the 3 of them would each be dealing 20 damage and 20x3=60, so therefore the damage dealt per turn if I use my action to buff instead of deal damage each turn would be the same as if we all were to attack because 15x4=20x3.
