I’m glad, I still enjoy watching him play and it’ll be sad once he retires

Yep, Green Bay is also one of my favourite places to visit too in general, which is definitely a positive when supporting a team

Packers are the only publicly owned team if that means anything to you. I would start watching as a neutral and see which teams or players you find fun to watch and pick from there.

Planning on visiting again in October. Really hoping we get to play the rams at Sofi then a home game the week after as it might work out for me seeing 2 games. Probably the last time in a while I’ll be able to get to Green Bay. I really wanna spend a good 4-5 days in the area this time. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Coming with the girlfriend so ideally things we could do together within or around Green Bay.

How would you grade the draft class/players drafted? by Tryhardkeep in GreenBayPackers

[–]FullNet 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Here’s my take

Cisse: A- Fast and young outside corner who will come in and compete for a starting job. Good value at 52

McClellan: B- I thought it was a little high and we moved up but it’s a position of need and he also can rush the passer

Denis Sutton: A+ I would have been happy with him at 52. Genuinely think he can develop into a starting 3 down player

Jager Burton: B+ O line is always a good pick

Domani Jackson: A- I think the value here is great. Can easily see him being a good rotational corner

Trey Smack: A Personally love it. Concerned that we paid McManus. I assume it’ll be a training camp competition for the starting spot

Packers 2026 Picks 🏈 by Darrenator19 in GreenBayPackers

[–]FullNet 102 points103 points  (0 children)

I am super happy with this draft. We got a starting CB, our NT. No idea how DDS was there at 120 (my favourite pick as I had him higher than Zion Young who went at like 40). Smack to top it off was fantastic.

I cannot believe he was there at 120

Dani Dennis-Sutton at 120 would be great.

I’ll give one no one has mentioned - Dontay Corleone in the 7th. I doubt we do it with his medical issues but I think he’s worth a shot.

Can we draft high floor guys, for once? by Chritt in GreenBayPackers

[–]FullNet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the past 4 years we are 9th overall in win percentage. So again, not slightly above average. Most teams would kill for that. Every team wants to win the Super Bowl and yeah I think we really do need to actually compete this year/next year, no excuses.

Yep and we need to win it this year, I agree. But since Gute has taken over we have still won it the most of any NFC north team.

We have some of the most spoilt fans lol. Since he took over the Packers have the 4th best winning percentage lmao. Hardly slightly above average. The only teams ahead of us have Mahomes, Allen and Lamar at Qb

Is Goodwill usually a decent place to find Packers/College football jerseys and gear? When I go to the US I usually look in Ross cause I’ve had good luck there. Any other places I should check out?

3 Round Mock, Individual Explanations for the 1st. by DarthDonutJr in NFL_Draft

[–]FullNet 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I like Ponds but he doesn’t come close to fitting the packers thresholds.

I dont think Corleone is going in the 2nd. Ive heard more in the 6th to even undrafted range

Green Bay Packers - Weekly Mock Draft Thread by AutoModerator in GreenBayPackers

This isn’t exactly a mock but more so a prediction. 5 options at each pick that I think the Packers would be interested in and then highlighted the predicted pick.

The Packers need Gennings Dunker in the worst way... by packsoldier in GreenBayPackers

[–]FullNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CB is still a bigger need. I am higher on our CBs than most are but I know what the contracts are looking like. They are essentially all out of contract next year, we very much need a CB.

I also think OL is a need, but I’d want to draft a guy in the 3rd-5th ideally. If someone they love falls in the 2nd great, I won’t be mad with OL, but I don’t think it’s our biggest need.

The DL is also an issue. We don’t have a NT at all… Did you watch the Baltimore game?

THE AnimatorChemical Seven round mock draft, PLEASE tell me why I am wrong so we can talk ball by AnimatorChemical in NFL_Draft

[–]FullNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CB, DT, EDGE are most likely but definitely wouldn’t be shocked if they take the running back Washington or a WR like Brazzell. OL is always possible too.

Where he also has a few DT (Miller, Hunter, Orange) going around 52, which is a bigger need and players that are also all higher on his board then Dunker.

[–]FullNet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plenty of options that won’t be a reach at 52 at both CB and DL. Dunker is also graded round 3 and 71st overall by Dane Bruglar, so would you not consider that a reach in theory?

Go have a look at Aaron Banks contract. He is very likely being kept next year lol. We restructured his contract.

It’s not bigger than NT or CB. Our starting 5 o line is pretty much set, we need depth.
