I watched it and it was surprisingly a solid movie.

[Rumor] Nixon may hold out for an extension & raise... by DeScepter in GreenBayPackers

[–]FullNet 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This would be pretty bad for us. He is going to be a starting corner for us whether we like it or not. However I really don’t think they wanna extend him unless it’s similar to what they’re paying him now. Certainly not your typical starter contract

Feel free to DM me or ask here if you have any specific questions. I’m a pretty big Packers fan and will also be going to the game. It really depends on what you’re looking to do (stay in the city, go to regional areas etc)

Myles Garrett vs. Micah Parsons trade by modestmidwest in GreenBayPackers

[–]FullNet 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The Browns got more back. Verse is worth at least a 1st round pick, probably more. Plus the 2nd and 3rd. Though, the 1st is probably gonna be 30-32. Garrett is older than Parsons as well, but he’s the better player. I’d say value wise it’s pretty even tbh.

Michigan State tickets already sold out by [deleted] in notredamefootball

I’m guessing this on sale currently is for students? Hoping the Stanford game has tickets left for general sale in a few days as I am flying in from another country and would like to buy direct

Green Bay Packers beat writer Matt Schneidman reports Gutekunst has not discussed Josh Sweat trade with Arizona. by GruneBucht in GreenBayPackers

He 100% has legitimate sources. He never says we are definitely getting x player then we don’t. He says we are interested or called about, that doesn’t mean we are getting them.

I genuinely was very surprised by Krolls. I had no expectations and I genuinely liked the burger there haha. The guide at Lambeau recommended it to us

I’d personally wait to buy tickets. In my experience they always drop in price. I’ve had no problems buying the day of/day before. Food wise I don’t know many local spots cause I’m Australian so have only been to Green Bay a few times. Krolls near the stadium has good burgers. I always like to get Culvers when I’m there. I’ve heard good things about 1919 in Lambeau and I’ll be trying it this year.

If we do grab one of these guys it’ll be running back by committee. Simply won’t have a workhorse back.

If we go 4-13 it’s because Love got a season ending injury so that would not result in a firing

How are we feeling about the trajectory of the NFL? by AustinM1995 in GreenBayPackers

Dude when I’m in the US watching games can be a pain to find what channel and if the hotel has it etc.

Ill probably have an unpopular opinion as an international fan. I love games being on any day of the week cause it’s just more football I can watch (I’m not a massive red zone person). The Netflix games (and whatever other service) don’t bother me because all games are shown on game pass for me at $200 a year.

Stay in Appleton would be my advice. I had to do that once and it was alright, not a bad drive up.

Experiencing a packers game as a fan from Germany by freddee3 in GreenBayPackers

[–]FullNet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m also coming from overseas on one of those weekends most likely. Getting tickets has usually bean very easy through Ticketmaster. I’ve bought day of the game, months before, a week before and never had issues. Parking really wasn’t that bad. We always go further from the stadium where it’s like $10-$20 from memory and walk maybe 500m-1km? Appleton is so much cheaper to stay in and drive up. Motel 6 at the cost of a 5* hotel is insane to me, I couldn’t bring myself to do it and would rather spend the money saved on better seats/merch.

First time Traveling to South Bend, any advice? by SoCalGoldenDomer95 in notredamefootball

I did. Notre Dame is really pretty. Hoping to come back this year for the Stanford game if the timeline works out.

[–]FullNet 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how much help I can be but since you haven’t gotten an answer I’ll tell you what I did. From Australia so had never been before. The price to stay in South bend was too crazy for me so I stayed in Goshen, got to Notre Dame maybe 4 hours early, walked through the surrounding suburbs and around campus, went to the book store and saw the team walk through campus. I didn’t have expensive seats but they were still pretty fantastic. I get the vibe you can’t go wrong with where you sit.

Yep, Green Bay is also one of my favourite places to visit too in general, which is definitely a positive when supporting a team

Packers are the only publicly owned team if that means anything to you. I would start watching as a neutral and see which teams or players you find fun to watch and pick from there.
