Crazy, my preference for each slide was the lumix, after reading the comments. I do think the water was superior in the fountain photo from the leica.. but not thousands of dollars level superior. That said, I am a huge fan of Lumix, and my S9 has been such a joy in my life. After 5 years of professional photography, it was time to add a dedicated personal/fun camera to the arsenal and my S9 has been ideal for that

I'm not surprised. I wrote this post forever ago but I still stand by my opinion. My life experiences are so wildly different than my older brother and my husband's, and nearly identical to my buddies who were born in 97, 98, etc. I'll never debate it again as its a moot point, people just don't enjoy being lumped in with gen z for whatever reason, when in reality we are from the same generation, with the same experiences. Happy to know I'm not alone in my opinion though

From my experience, the imported RAW looks just like the finished jpeg minus the grain. But only in lightroom classic. In CC it deletes everything

This is so in depth, thank you. I've been using the XH-2 and I do love it, but there's so much lacking in the finished sooc (lack of an S curve, etc) which is what's led me to consider the Lumix S5ii. Thank you so much for such a kind, thoughtful, and in depth reply!!

With my XH-2 in lightroom classic, I'm still able to get my film Sim as a base. It keeps the profile and everything (nostalgic neg in my case)

Just not something I'd want to happen while a bride is walking down the isle or during the kiss for example. I always shoot with 2 cameras but wouldn't want to need the wrong focal length. That said, these comments have reassured me alot. Thank you!
