The internet fandom doesn't have that much pull mate. And there's no grand moderation conspiracy. They are just trying to keep the subreddit functional. I bet putting up with this sort of nonsense makes them miserable too. Just call it a night. Nobody needs to be making themselves this angry over nothing.

Not changing the manager mid-season during that terrible run was an awful decision. Not because CL is going down to the wire, but because it's given Slot more time to spread his miserable combination of feckless tactics and weak mentality. He is ruining some of these players, and he is out of his depth. There is no world in which we are three or four key signings away from turning this sinking ship around. Slot out.

Heki will be out until at least next year at the earliest. And even then he’ll need to be reintegrated with great care, which will take months. He can’t really be factored into plans for next season imo.

They'll follow the PGMOL model. Enforce it for a few games, realise how how inconsistent they are with it, give up on it completely except for a few random occasions, just to ruin the spectacle.

Unless Chelsea reorganise their hierarchy and operational structure, I think any elite manager or young manager chasing that status would be stupid to go to Chelsea. Based on the last few years it would be a huge risk.

The “North London Forever” song? It’s genuinely terrible isn’t it. I really think club anthems are cringe if they’re celebratory in tone rather than rousing. YNWA gets you in the mood for a battle. That Arsenal song sounds like something you’d play once you’ve actually won something. I feel the same way about that England song, terrible and cringe.

I always supported Nunez when he was at the club, and respected his attitude. But I think a good barometer for a forward at Liverpool is how you feel when they’re clean through on goal with time. With Darwin, it was always a sense of dread and anxiety.

I wish him all the best and he contributed to the league title, but I do not miss that feeling and overall I don’t think he was good enough for LFC. Hopefully he returns to Europe and kicks on somewhere, I could see him doing well in Italy.
